There is a reporter on the news and his story requires him to call out years. Instead of saying “In two-thousand five….” he’s saying “In twenty o five….” “In twenty o six….” Seriously. He said this at least 10 times. I don’t know why it’s bothering me. Oh, yeah, maybe cause it’s stupid.

I have been asked several times today to do things for people “When I have a minute.” Most of the time, it’s something that they are supposed to be doing anyway. Here’s a clue people: I don’t have a minute to do YOUR job. You can do it when you have a minute. You aren’t asking me for a favor, you’re asking me to perform your job responsibilities. Look over here, I’m busy.
What? My TV is on in my office? Yeah….um, I need the noise to help me work. I am very productive to the sounds of The Young and the Restless. Huh? You just saw me down the hall having a conversation? Yeah! About work, cause I’m at work, and I’m working! Oh, you overheard me talking about going to Target…what I was saying was that I couldn’t go today at lunch cause I have so much work to do. Noooo, I was on the internet looking at e-bay!? I was looking up cases on Lexis and I had pushed the wrong link when you came in and startled me and broke my concentration. GEEZ, why you in my bizness???
Anyway, I still ain’t doing it. Like I said, I’m busy.

Some things, when you read them, immediately make you mad. Just because you just need to be angry behind stuff like this. Like, right now, I just wanna call somebody and cuss them out cause THIS DAMN FOOL is crazy and I can’t call HIM and cuss HIM out. And it won’t be their fault. And they won’t know why they’re getting cussed out. People, if any of you get a call from me, I didn’t really mean what I said. I was just mad. You shouldn’t have answered. Hell, you asked for it.

If I reminded you this morning at 10:00 that you were late on getting me something I needed and you told me at 10:00 this morning that you would get it to me ASAP, why in da….. did I just see you on yahoo.com and you haven’t given me my stuff yet? Seriously, it wasn’t possible to get me my stuff before you stopped your workday to play a game? And no, you are not on your lunch break.
