You have a daughter who is around 6 years old, and is going to spend two weeks in the summer with her Dad. Her dad has a girlfriend who lives in the home. Before you send your daughter, you braid/cornrow her hair and intend for it to stay braided until she returns home.
About a week after she gets there, her braids are taken down and the girlfriend has taken her to the beauty shop. That’s all you know. What do you do?

Yesterday I was thisclose to buying a desktop computer. I want one, but the thought kept crossing my mind that I would probably rarely use it. The other thought was you don’t spend $500 on a whim.. The only thing that I’m certain it will be used for is for Aidan to play his little computer learning games. I tried to convince myself that it would be a good investment for my online classes, and it would. But the chances of me actually going upstairs, sitting at a desk, doing the work are slim. If I was really that into using the desk I have, I’d be using it already.
I already have a laptop, which for years has been my only computer, but I’ve always thought about getting a desktop. The major problem is that the desk is upstairs in my bedroom, and I’m almost never up there because its the only room upstairs. So, dear readers, here is where you come in….
Do you have both a laptop and a desktop? What are the advantages? If you only have one, what kind do you have?

Say that you were married, and recently divorced. You and your ex have children together. At some point you came across information that your ex has additional children that he never speaks of or mentions. He didn’t even tell you. He doesn’t have any contact with the other children, but they exist and are his none-the-less. The other children are in between your children (agewise).
Would you tell your children about their siblings?

Since I watch children’s programming now, I have memories of what I used to watch when I was a kid. I lurved Sesame Street and The Electric Company, and I remember watching Mr. Rogers, but only because it came on in between those two shows. I wasn’t crazy about it. I don’t remember too many cartoons that I would watch, but I remember that I did.not.miss The Smurfs.
What about you? What do you remember watching as a kid? Let’s stick with kid shows and cartoons on this one, there’s gonna be a part two.

Question for you guys: What kinds of snacks do you keep in the house? If you have kids, what do they snack on?
Our snacks consist of: assorted potato chips, goldfish crackers, some Little Debbie cakes left over from vacation, some 100 calorie snacks that I hate, and the candy bowl. In addition to that, Aidan normally eats cheese, fruity o’s (bootleg fruit loops), and sandwich meat.
I’m thinking our snacks need to be a little healthier. What ya’ll snackin’ on?

What kind of degree do you have and from where? Do you work in the area in which your degree is in? If not, why not? Any thoughts of getting another degree? Why/why not?
If not, are you currently in school, or have you contemplated getting a degree?
