This monument is located in Madison, MS along the interstate. When you pass by it, it’s rather large. It’s supposed to be a replica of the Washington monument. Why? Well, there is a cell phone tower inside it and the city ordinance is that cell phone towers must be disguised – you know, because cell phone towers are ugly and Madison is all purty and stuff. Anyway, we were talking about this in the beauty shop and one lady said something, then everybody said “I always thought that, but I just didn’t wanna say it!!” What she said was “That thing reminds me of a Klan head.” What do you think? I’m just saying. Look at it from the top. Pointy head….two eyes….white sheet….eh?

I didn’t see it, but best believe my paranoid self would be driving fast past it after hearing that theory. LOL
I have always considered the design of the Washington Monument to be rather phallic.
